Wine routes: Tbilisi & Kakheti

Wine routes: Tbilisi & Kakheti

Not many things are so homogeneous for Georgia and Georgians as wine and grape. It's completely knitted in Georgian folk songs, national dance, painting, architecture, lifestyle and so on and so forth. That's why foreigners are encouraged to get to know Georgian wine by visiting various enotouristic places.

At KM Rental Cars, we decided to create a wine route map for our customers. On the map, you can find markers that represent wine-related places. There appears a note box on each of them upon a click with the name of a place and type of it in the parenthesis. There are 7 types of enotouristic places:

  • Vineyard
  • Wine bar
  • Traditional wine cellar
  • Wine factory
  • Cuisine
  • Guesthouse
  • Ethnographic corner

Each place may represent one or combine several styles of wine tourism. This information will help you to find the exact places of your interest and visit them. You can find the address, telephone numbers and email addresses in the description area of each marker. Please note that where the address includes only a city or a village, markers may be placed on the map, not on the exact locations, so we recommend you to call in forward to get the exact directions or ask local people. We encourage you to call in any case - to find out the working hours and to inform about your visit.
